Free for UK small businesses

Check what your business is overpaying

Three bills quietly drain most small businesses: energy, card fees, and broadband and phone. Each calculator below takes a couple of minutes, uses your own figures, and shows the working.

  • No sign-up
  • Your figures stay in your browser
  • Every rate linked to its official source

Put it all together

Once you've run two or three of the calculators, the total running costs check adds them up and puts the bill with the biggest likely saving at the top, so you know where to spend your time first. Your figures stay in your browser; we never see them.

Open the total bill check

  1. Run each calculator with your own bills
  2. See all three costs side by side
  3. Tackle the biggest saving first

Why energy usually comes first

For many shops, cafés, salons and workshops, energy is the largest of the three. Business energy also works differently from home energy: there's no price cap, contracts can roll onto expensive out-of-contract rates, and brokers are often paid through your unit rate. If you're near the end of a contract, try the out-of-contract checker, and if a broker has quoted you, the broker commission calculator shows what their fee costs over the contract.

Who runs this site

BizBillCheck is run by HTML Studio in Leicestershire. Its calculators are built by Oliver Burton, who also runs the household energy site EnergySwitch.co.uk. Every tax rate and rule we use links to its official source with the date we checked it. Read how we calculate and more about us.
